Half-staffing of the flag - Senator Robert C. Byrd

As a mark of respect for the memory and longstanding service of Senator Robert C. Byrd, President Obama has ordered that the United States flag be displayed at half-staff through July 3, returned to full staff on July 4, and back to half-staff until sunset on the day of Senator Byrd’s interment, July 6.  The full text of the proclamation can be found @  http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/presidential-proclamation-passing-robert-byrd
